We went here for our New Years dinner and couldn’t have been happier. The food was amazing, restaurant was cozy, and service was incredible! Shout outs to Amanda and the chef who took care of us. They also have their own parking lot which was very convenient for the area. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Stopped in for a restroom break, beer, and coffee. The beer was good and cold, and I'm told the coffee was excellent. The staff was very friendly and from Bosnia, which was interesting. And yes, they spoke better English than I do.

First time dining at White Bear and it didn’t disappoint. We had a party of 15 and were handled to perfection. Food and drink came out quickly and everything was excellent. Waitstaff was attentive and worked as a team. They even had a one man band playing who was really good. We will definitely return and highly recommend you check out White Bear.

First time to the restaurant. We go to Lake Placid frequently and always have lunch, so far up to now it has been a distasteful event. We visited The White Bear today for lunch, great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, very good food. We had the Chicken and Bacon Wrap and the Club Burger, absolutely delicious. When leaving I needed the handicap exit which the owner (Very Sweet and Accommodating) walked us to the exit and waited with me while my husband got the car and helped me in. Such service and good food. We will be going back each time we visit the area. Kudos to the owner for doing a beautiful job on building a very nice restaurant. (Apparently 6 years in the making)

Great restaurant. Decent sized menu with a good cocktail menu and wine list. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for in a mountain town as well. Will be returning

Friendly and attentive service, great local spot with very nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had drinks for our first time in, it’s a beautiful new building with a very traditional drink and food menu. The staff was very attentive and friendly, we will definitely be back for dinner!

Got a chicken and a fish dish and both were perfectly cooked and flavored. Our server Mihailo was very attentive and friendly, as was all the staff, which added to a great overall experience. The mountain backdrop from the porch was beautiful as the sun was setting. Will definitely visit again when I come back to Lake Placid.
